Earth Day is Wednesday, but at Berkeley, we do Earth Week!

Led by the Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC), campus has packed the calendar with events worth exploring. Organized around the theme “Nurturing Rays of Hope: Finding Joy in Community and Collective Liberation,” this year’s programming runs through April 27 and touches on issues close to DevEng’s core concerns — from supply chain justice and food systems to clean energy and environmental resilience.

Highlights include a Supply Chain Solidarity film screening and panel (tomorrow at noon), exploring how the “green” lithium transition affects workers and communities; a Campus Sustainability Showcase featuring campus sustainability, climate, and environmental justice projects (Friday at noon); and the Lawrence Hall of Science Earth Day Celebration (Sunday at 11am). Raffle prizes await those who attend at least one event!

Browse the full schedule and add events to your calendar at events.berkeley.edu/serc.
