UC Berkeley MDevEng Course Audit

Prospective students who attend the DevEng 205 course audit and submit an application to the Master of Development Engineering program by November 15 will receive an application fee waiver.

    This course is the second of a sequence of two final project courses for candidates of the Master of Development Engineering. Students engage in professionally oriented independent or group projects under the supervision of an advisor. The projects integrate the development engineering goals of creating technology interventions designed to improve human and economic development within complex low-resource settings.

    More about Khalid Kadir, PhD

    Khalid is a Continuing Lecturer at UC Berkeley. He received his PhD in 2010 from Berkeley in Civil and Environmental Engineering, where his research focused on pathogen removal in natural water and wastewater treatment systems. While completing this research, Khalid was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to work on water and wastewater treatment systems in Morocco.
