The Master of Development Engineering is UC Berkeley’s first professional degree committed to solving complex global challenges across the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors. The three-semester program is interdisciplinary, integrating engineering, economics, business, natural resource development, and social sciences to develop, implement, and evaluate technological interventions that address the needs of low-income communities around the world.
